I currently serve as an Instructor in the Resiliency Section at the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training (DOCJT). Before returning to DOCJT, I worked in the private sector for a software development company, where I combined my passion for technology with software development. Earlier in my career at DOCJT, I served as an instructor in the Special Topics Section, teaching Bloodstain Pattern Analysis, Shooting Reconstruction, and the Kentucky Criminalistics Academy.

Prior to joining DOCJT, I retired as the Assistant Chief of Police for the Harrodsburg Police Department. Throughout my law enforcement career, I specialized in criminal investigations and served as a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

I attended my first Kentucky Post-Critical Incident Seminar (KYPCIS) in September 2017 following a line-of-duty death in Jessamine County. The support I received and the relationships I built during that week had a profound impact on my life and recovery. Today, it is an honor to serve as a member of the KYPCIS team, helping provide first responders with the same support and encouragement during some of the most challenging moments of their careers.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new technologies, developing software, and writing code. I appreciate the challenge of using technology to solve complex problems and create practical solutions.
