My law enforcement career began with the Hopkinsville Police Department, where I spent most of my career assigned to the Investigations Section. I primarily investigated violent crimes and served on a specialized team focused on crimes against children. As a forensic interviewer with the Pennyrile Children's Advocacy Center, I conducted interviews with child victims across the nine-county Pennyrile region. I also served as a collision reconstructionist, assisting with the investigation and analysis of serious traffic crashes. Before leaving the department, I was promoted to sergeant and supervised the Investigations Section.

In October 2018, I joined the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training (DOCJT) as an instructor in the In-Service Training Section, where I taught courses in criminal investigations and crime scene processing. After attending the Kentucky Post-Critical Incident Seminar (KYPCIS) in 2022, I developed a passion for resiliency and peer support. That experience led me to transfer to the Resiliency Section in 2025, where I continue supporting Kentucky's first responders through training and professional development.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, whether we're playing cards and board games or traveling together on family adventures.
