I first participated in the Kentucky Post-Critical Incident Stress (KYPCIS) program as an observer in June 2018. I officially joined the program as a Research Psychologist in 2019. I developed protocols for data collection, analysis, and reporting that strengthened program evaluation efforts and helped secure additional funding, significantly expanding the program's capacity.

I apply an interdisciplinary approach and mixed research methods to support evidence-based program development and continuous improvement within KYPCIS. In addition to my work with KYPCIS, I lead other DOCJT research efforts aimed at better understanding police leadership, wellbeing, agency climate, and officer development. I am also a KLEC-certified instructor.

I earned my doctorate in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Georgia and have more than a decade of experience working with law enforcement as a trainer, researcher, and organizational consultant. I have presented police research to diverse audiences at local, state, and national levels, and have served as a research associate on two federal law enforcement grants.

I have dedicated my work to understanding the lived experiences of officers and dispatchers, to better serve their needs through legislation, research, training, and wellbeing interventions.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy reading about psychology and history, hiking, gardening, and raising chickens.
